Quito Tembe is an artistic manager, curator, and cultural organizer. A former dancer and actor, he has specialized in scenography and lighting, working on several films and artistic productions in Mozambique and internationally. Founder of the Aldeia Cultural festival and the Tridisciplinary contemporary art project, he is the artistic director of the KINANI contemporary dance platform. He develops artistic tours in Africa and promotes cooperation between festivals through the Othàma platform. Co-curator of the 2021 Afro-Vibes festival in Amsterdam and president of the artistic committee of Danse En Afrique 2023, he also teaches lighting scenography at ECA – Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.

Director, Festival des Francophonies en Limousin – Limoges, France

Born in 1964 in Burkina Faso, Hassane Kassi Kouyaté is a multifaceted artist, trainer, and festival creator.

Founder of the Yeleen Storytelling Festival in 1996, he is a passionate advocate of engaged, multicultural theatre with a strong focus on memory and heritage preservation.

Since 2014, he has served as Director of Tropiques Atrium, the national stage in Martinique, and has created more than 40 productions as an actor, writer, and director. His work also includes the training of professional storytellers and actors, and he has toured widely across Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

In 2019, he took on the direction of the Festival des Francophonies en Limousin, curating events that bring together diverse cultures and ideas.

Danielle Hoover

Danielle Hoover holds a degree in Artistic Education from the Federal University of Pernambuco and an MBA in Digital Marketing from the Catholic University of Pernambuco.

For more than 30 years, she has built a distinguished career in cultural production, spanning circus, theatre, audiovisual arts, and music.

As co-founder of Luni Produções, she has served since 2004 as director and curator of the Festival de Circo do Brasil in Recife. Hoover has also led international projects with institutions such as La Grainerie (France), La Tohu (Canada), Circa (Denmark), and Subtopia (Sweden), while organizing tours for numerous international artists in Brazil.

In 2023, she was named Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.

Carole Umulinga Karemera is an actress, musician, and director of the Ishyo Arts Centre in Kigali, a key institution in Rwanda’s cultural landscape.

Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Belgium and in cultural leadership in South Africa, she has dedicated more than 20 years to the creation, production, and promotion of the arts in Africa.

An advocate for freedom of expression, she initiates innovative projects such as the Kina Festival and SURF-INN, while also serving on several African cultural boards.
