Director of Africolor Festival – Paris, France

Sébastien Lagrave, a philosophy agrégé and former classical vocalist, has directed the Africolor Festival since 2012, expanding its scope through international cultural cooperation projects in Mali, Comoros, Tanzania, and Tunisia.

Trained in cultural management at ESC Dijon, he previously directed the Jean Houdremont Cultural Center in La Courneuve. From 2016 to 2018, he served as president of the Zone Franche network and is currently an expert for several institutions, including DRAC Île-de-France, CNM, and the French Ministry of Culture.

Deeply engaged in shaping world music policies, he was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2018.
