Bringing Together Nearly 500,000 Spectators
The MASA Festival features performances by renowned artists, emerging talents, and selected groups that are not part of the official MASA Market lineup. While the Festival represents the festive side of the event, it often serves as a launchpad for the international careers of the programmed artists.
More than 300 performances across all disciplines are staged throughout the district of Abidjan.
MASA, a Cultural Celebration
at the Heart of Abidjan
The festival takes over the entire city with a rich and accessible program. At the Palais de la Culture, the vibrant MASA Village brings together entertainment, dining, artist booths, and open-air performances — a true crossroads of African and global cultures.
At the heart of this village, the Street Arts Zone celebrates urban dance, music, and creative expression, showcasing the dynamic energy of youth.
MASA Scolaire welcomes 20,000 students for specially tailored performances, while a Young Audiences area offers storytelling, puppetry, theater, and workshops designed for the youngest visitors.
