MASA 2026: Official list of groups selected for the MASA Market

From December 3 to 5, 2025, the MASA’s International Artistic Committee (CAI) met in Abidjan for its 2nd technical session, in preparation for the 14th edition of MASA, which will take place from April 11 to 18, 2026, in Abidjan, under the theme: “Performing Arts in Africa, a tool for economic and social integration.”

The 23 CAI members reviewed 1,866 applications from 51 countries, registered via the official MASA Marché platform.

Following these proceedings, the CAI selected a total of 60 artists and
artistic groups from 28 countries, distributed as follows:

• • –  03 in Circus ;

• • –  04  in Storytelling ;

• • –  09 in Contemporary Dance;

• • –  01 in Traditional Dance;

• • –  02 in Urban Dance ;

• • –  06 in Humor ;

• • –  01 in Young Audience ;

• • –  02 in Puppets ;

• • –  16 in Music;

• • –  07 in Slam ;

• • –  08 en Theater. 
  • The MASA General Management expresses its deep gratitude to the CAI
    members for their rigor and dedication, as well as to all candidates for
    the artistic quality of their proposals. It congratulates the selected
    groups and invites them to immediately undertake the necessary
    administrative procedures (visa and health formalities) for their
    effective participation in MASA 2026.
