Artistic Director, Timitar World Music Festival / Founder, Visa For Music – Morocco

Brahim El Mazned has been the Artistic Director of the Timitar Festival in Agadir since 2004, an event renowned for its celebration of world music and Amazigh culture.

In 2014, he founded Visa For Music, the first professional music market in Africa and the Middle East, held annually in Rabat.El Mazned is also a cultural expert for UNESCO, regularly serves on international juries, and is committed to preserving Moroccan musical heritage. His dedication is reflected in acclaimed anthologies of Aïta and Rrways, recognized by the Académie Charles Cros.
