Incubated Company – Theatre

Cie Tell’Arts

The Tell’Arts company is an artistic collective specializing in theater, founded in October 2016 in Abidjan by Souleymane Sow and Tella Kpomahou. Its work focuses primarily on training, creation, promotion, and dissemination of performing arts, with a strong emphasis on theater.
Tell’Arts benefits from the MASA Lab incubation program, particularly for the project “Poupée Barbue” by Édouard Elvis Bvouma, which is supported by the mentorship of Hassane Kassi Kouyaté, director of the Francophonies festival in Limoges. This support has helped the company to structure its artistic approach and expand its visibility.
The company’s flagship creation, directed by Souleymane Sow, a graduate in Performing Arts and Theatre Production, stands out as one of its major works. Souleymane Sow is a recognized artist in Côte d’Ivoire, having produced several successful shows such as Les Bonnes by Jean Genet, 220 logements (musical) by Chantal Djédjé, and Houphouët (musical) by Serge Bilé. He has also participated in numerous prestigious international festivals, including the Avignon Off Festival and the MASA festival in Abidjan.
