Title of the show: In a corridor

In a corridor is a choreographic work by AT Company, inspired by movements drawn from traditional Ivorian dances. Its approach explores improvisation within public space, where the present moment guides the body, shaped and carried by its immediate environment. The piece unfolds like a living dialogue between movement, space, and sensation.

From the spontaneous energy of Abidjan’s streets to the prestigious stages of Europe, Aminata Traoré embodies a constant pursuit of excellence, balancing academic rigor with deep passion. Trained at INSAAC, the Győr School of Dance, and the École des Sables, this magnetic performer has developed a rich and versatile technique alongside renowned figures such as Germaine Acogny and Angelin Preljocaj.

Now a tenured teacher and dedicated pedagogue, she founded AT Company in 2019, envisioning it as both a creative laboratory and a bridge between cultures. Through innovative works such as Mi Ti Libre and Dans un couloir, as well as structuring initiatives like the Siablé Labet Festival – A Step Forward, Aminata Traoré is committed to professionalizing the next generation of dancers while promoting a grounded, generous dance language that remains open to the world.
