Title of the Show: The Top Floor

On the top floor, in a silent apartment, unfolds the story of two former lovers, deeply enamored yet trapped in a void that symbolizes a frozen love—an extended impasse where every word and gesture tests their limits. In this home of forgotten hopes and unmet expectations, their flame, like a fire in a windy night, must either reignite to illuminate the path or extinguish forever, leaving only cold and silence.

This honest dialogue, with walls as mute witnesses to their fate, explores the struggle to reclaim warmth in frozen relationships or to surrender to the unknown solitude. The performance delves into the fragility of love, the confrontation with inner demons, and the search for light in darkness, where despair and hope intertwine at the heart of human emotion.

Performed by a troupe of dancers trained at the Faculty of Ballet Masters of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS, Moscow)—Europe’s oldest and largest institution for theatrical training, a global leader in choreography, preserving the academic art of Russian ballet and physical theatre—the ensemble has showcased their artistry in Russia and internationally, including Algeria, China, Kazakhstan, Senegal, and the Seychelles.
