Stage Director, Playwright – Rabat, Morocco

Karim Troussi is a stage director, pedagogue, and artistic director of the Karacena Biennial in Morocco, dedicated to circus arts and the art of travel. Describing himself as a “pioneer of the sensitive,” he has spent more than 30 years exploring the actor’s physical sensitivity through the themes of body, play, and perception.

Trained at the CNSAD in Paris and at the National Center for Circus Arts, he combines artistic and physical approaches—acrobatics, kinesiology, voice—and has collaborated with leading figures such as Peter Brook and Ariane Mnouchkine.

Alongside his stage work, he directs concerts for groups including Babylon Circus and teaches internationally at several prestigious institutions.
