Title of the show: Ester

The Ester Show is a one-hour poetic ambulatory intervention. At the heart of this project: an 18 cm finger puppet nestled in a portable theater. Through a two-minute scene on the cycle of life (the bloom) and moments of pure physical tenderness with passersby, Ester reduces the distance between the artist and the audience to create an intimate and human bond.

Odília Nunes, a Brazilian actress and director from Pernambuco, dedicates her career to street arts, circus and popular culture. Pioneer of local theatre, she strives to bring art outside urban centers. She now runs a free rural cultural center, affirming her conviction that art is an essential tool for encounter and social transformation.
