Deputy Director, Cinema, Music, Performing Arts and Literature – Canadian Cultural Centre – Canada

A graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Lyon, Sylvain Cornuau has worked for more than twenty years in the Canadian arts sector. Currently Head of International Coordination, Cultural Diplomacy, and Partnerships at the Canada Council for the Arts, he previously supported Carrousel, a theatre company, and served on several boards related to youth arts.

He has led major international initiatives, including CanadaHub in Edinburgh, Canadian showcases at the Cervantino Festival (Mexico) and at MASA in Abidjan. He also coordinated the Arctic Arts Summit (2022) and directed programming at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris (2022–2023).A former Secretary General of the CITF, he is recognized for his commitment to inclusive and ambitious artistic practices.
