On March 30 and April 4, 2024, Ruth Tafebe had the honor of participating in an artistic residency at Yelam’s, accompanied by her mentor David Aubaile. This experience, part of the MASA LAB program, gave her a unique opportunity to refine her artistic practice and deeply enrich her musical and creative universe.
MASA LAB is a framework dedicated to supporting emerging artists, allowing them to benefit from mentoring, residencies, and workshops to develop their talent in a professional and stimulating environment. Ruth Tafebe’s residency at Yelam’s is a prime example of this commitment.
This program benefits from the valuable support of the French Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire, which strengthens cultural cooperation between the two countries and opens enriching prospects for the artists.
Through initiatives like this, MASA continues to promote artistic creation by offering African talents concrete opportunities for growth and visibility, thereby contributing to cultural influence at regional and international levels.
